Berry Picky Review: Paris Amour by Bath & Body Works

While I was moving out of my old room into my new one I came across this little beauty, Paris Amour by Bath & Body Works.
This is the scent my sister loved and bought in a triple moisture body cream but ended up sharing with me. She shared it with me because I wasn't a huge fan of it in the store but later became in love with it at home. I think I didn't like it in the store because I was wearing other samples and It probably didn't mix good with the ones I previously tried.
So in the end I borrowed Paris Amour from her many times before I finally bought my own travel size, I will later buy the full size at the Semi Annual Sale coming up but let's talk more about the actual product.
On the website the scent is description says,

"Fortified with our exclusive triple moisture complex of conditioning milk proteins, hydrating
rice bran oil and protective acai berry extract, our Signature Triple Moisture Body Cream provides deep, 24-hour moisture that softens even the driest skin. Our non-greasy formula deeply conditions, leaving skin moisturized, fragrant, and more beautiful than ever before.

  • Indulge your senses with our exclusive Paris Amour, a beautiful blend of French tulips, apple blossoms and sparkling pink champagne, inspired by a romantic stroll through the streets of Paris

  • Key Fragrance Notes: French Tulips, Apple Blossoms, and Pink Champagne

  • Massage into skin, especially dry spots like knees and elbows or all-over for ultimate moisture"
When the product is in the bottle I can mostly smell the French Tulips and the Pink Champagne but when I rub it into my skin I get more of the Apple Blossom scent.

Now on to the quality of the product which I personally dislike how Bath & Body Works scents tend to fade throughout the day or feel greasy on my skin. I have a oily skin type so to much moisture is a bad thing, but Paris Amour last a good amount of time and feels like my skin is actually adsorbing the product. Although the second ingredient is Alcohol I love this product and will continue to use it.
If you are interested in this scent and live near a Bath and Body Works I'd advise giving it a try before you buy it. Everyone is different and a scent that might work with my body chemistry might not work with yours, but it just so happen that my sister and I both like the same scent... Which is rare that we agree finally on something!

  1. When I went to the USA in February, I got this scent in the anti-bacterial hand gels which I love.

I wish we had a Bath & Body Works in the UK...though it's probably a good thing for my bank account!

  4. Besides the fact that it's kind of oily and the scent fades away, it seems nice.
And the package is so cute :)
