DIY Vision Boards to Help Stay Motivated

Hi everyone! Today I want to share a creative DIY that can help keep you on track with your dreams and goals because everyone gets distracted sometimes! Personally I get distracted a lot more then "sometimes" but this helps me a lot because it's the first thing that I see when I wake up.

You will need:

  • Pictures of the goals you want to make, I used pictures from college packages and magazine cutouts
  • A bulletin board or a backless picture frame
  • Tape, staples, glue, or even pushpins
  • Goals/Dreams that are reasonable but challenging

Okay, so to changing your boring plain board into a motivating colorful one you will need interesting pictures that represents your goals. For mines I used a lot of pictures that seem happy and encouraging, but if you want only words/quotes that's also acceptable. Just remember to aim for phrases like finish school work before deadlines, try my best at everything I do, and my personal favorite do NOT procrastinate. Little reminders like these will help you try your best rather than being perfect. Because let's face it, nobody's perfect.

For your second step you will need to arrange the photos and quotes on the floor to get a idea of how you will want everything to look like.

Next stick everything to your board with thumb tacks to create the classic type of vision board. If you want to do something a little bit more creative continue reading.

 Backless DIY Vision Board

1. Follow all the steps above but instead of using a cork board you will need a large photo frame.
2. Remove the back of the frame and glass (optional) to create a "invisible" effect.

3. Hang your frame on a wall where you know you will see it every day.

4. Add the images inside the frame to make it look like they are floating.
*Here's a little tip for step four, if you don't want to use tape on you beautiful wall leave the glass in the frame and use clear glue to stick your pictures to the glass

After your done with this simple DIY you're officially ready to start accomplishing your dreams! Good luck :)

»What's one goal you plan on accomplishing this year?

As always...
