Let's Compare!: Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie VS Deep Treatment Masque

Hi beauties! I would like to introduce you to this new type of post called Let's Compare. In these type of post I will compare similar products to see which one works best. Today I'm comparing two products that are both from Shea Moisture, one is their Curl Enhancing Smoothing and the other is their well known Deep Treatment Masque. Both products are amazing but let's break them down both to see which one might work best for you!

Similarities

Firstly, both products are thick conditioning treatments for repairing damaged hair, this special treatment is perfect for the colder months because they have a astonishing defense against frizz and dryness.

Another thing I noticed while using the Curl Enhancing Smoothie and the Deep Treatment is that they both are very moisturizing and my hair becomes extremely soft after using it. But come on, it's Shea Moisture, from their name alone you can probably guess that they make extremely hydrating products :)

Differences

The first difference I noticed is that the Curl Enhancing Smoothing had an amazing scent, which was a lot better then the Deep Treatment Masque. I believe this is because one is made to be a intensive treatment while the other is suppose to be a daily leave in. Sure the scent of the Deep Treatment Masque isn't extremely powerful, but it reminded me of a perfume scent rather then a hair product.

So which one did I pick?

After using both products for a few weeks I finally decided that the Curl Enhancing Smoothie had a lot more benefits for my hair rather than the Deep Treatment Masque. Sure my hair gets dry from time to time, but I found that if I moisturized every day rather then twice a week I would a lot more good hair days! My hair is now a lot more bouncy, curly, shiny and smells like a a berry smoothie. It's simply a amazing product for my hair! <3

Overall both are remarkable products but the Shea Moisture Enhancing Smoothie provides all my hair needs. If you're unsure which product to buy I would suggest getting the Deep Treatment Masque if you hair isn't extremely damaged and needs a little more lovin' :)

  19. The ingredient sound like that smell really nice, I should invest in hair treatment conditioners but my shampoo and conditioner does the job at the moment.
