December Favorites 2015

I can honestly say December was the hardest month of my life for three reasons. First, I tragically lost someone who was very close to me and my family. Second, I was forced to suddenly move (due to safety issues). And last but not least, I had to remove many "friends" from my inner circle because I realized most wasn't true friends. All of these events drastically changed the way I view life so that's why this post isn't going to include my typical favorites. Instead of focusing on materialistic items I decided to mention the special moments I spent with loved ones and the songs that got me through my dark days.

L I F E S T Y L E
Music | Six Degrees of Separation by the Script The Quiet by Troye Sivan + Echoes by Odesza (feat. Py). I listened to a lot of music last month but these were the songs that were on repeat.
Place | I enjoyed basically anywhere quiet and where I could collect my thoughts. Aka, calm parks and nature trails.

M O M E N T S
1//Opening up to someone who I was really close to. Even though we no longer talk (due to unrelated reasons), I'll be entirely grateful for the support they gave me during a hard time.
2//Spending time with family and enjoying laughing with them again.

As mentioned above I didn't really enjoy physical stuff this month, but a few beauty product did have my back this month. You see, during the move I was practically living out a suitcase for two weeks so obviously I didn't pack my entire makeup collection. Instead I only used three items (besides foundation) in my makeup routine. I used Tarte's Tartelette in Bloom palette, Covergirl's Super Sizer mascara, and Smash Box's Limitless waterproof Eyeliner whenever I went out for work or attended memorial events so I wouldn't scare anyone.

P.S. Even though last month was a challenge for me I know everything happens for a reason. And sure, right now I do not understand why this unfortunate situation happened but I know one day everything will make sense. It was hard for me to return to my daily activities but just bare with me, I'll be back to my cheerful self in the near future.
